Once you get to the city centre, you can tour the inner city of bike, or view it from the Roan Walls on foot. There are plenty of places to safely park your bike.

You can also access the tow path along the River Dee to take you on scenic route along this pretty stretch of water, taking in the sites as you go. Click here to access a great website that works well for the city of Chester and the surrounding countryside.

The Woodland

There are many pitches around the Woodland area, including 3 private island pitches. These pitches are situated in such a beautiful secluded area away from the main hub of the site. These book up very quickly. Due to the lakes, the Woodland may not be suitable for families with small children.

NB: Fishing is an additional cost unless you book an ISLAND PITCH. These come with a fishing included in the cost enabling you to fish from your own island.
