Chester Lakes moves into Autumn

After a strange start to the year it was great to get the largest camping and caravan site just outside Chester back open. We welcomed campers from around the north west of England, Wales and much further afield. We were able to welcome great small groups of bikers, car enthusiasts and caravners who enjoyed the late summer sunshine whilst adhering to the strict social distancing measures that we have in place across the site.

As we move in to the autumn, we are looking to welcome groups fewer than six and smaller to enjoy all that there is to offer both on and off site. Alongside our 100 acres of camping in the Cheshire countryside, we offer a range of seven fishing lakes stocked full. There are come great walks and cycle routes around the whole site and surrounding areas. This is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors, on the outskirts of one of the oldest and most stunning cities in the UK. Take a day trip in to the city of Chester and take in all that there is to offer. Walk the Roman Walls, have a picnic lunch overlooking the Amphitheatre, stoll along the banks of the pretty River Dee. Hop on a river cruise and take in the sites from the water. You don't have to set foot in to a premises. There is so much on offer in terms of outdoor fun. If you are paying a visit with the children, you are only minutes away from the world famous Chester Zoo, another great place to visit that doesn't involve going inside!
